“Aldeia Boa Vista” is an acrylic on canvas, aprox. 50x60 cm, portraying the Huni Kuin (Kaxinawa) people of the Boa Vista Village, Jordão, Amazon Rainforest in Brazil. The central shuhu or maloca (hut for rituals) is lit by the full moon and surrounded by plants and animals, the women are wearing the traditional woven dresses and skirts, while the shamans pray and blow on a patient.
